This paper discusses Virtual Reality as a metaphor for accessing information in structured Web sites. A model for information classification is presented, and an architecture for generating VR interfaces according to a Web site structure is illustrated. Assuming that XML is a viable choice for describing Web documents semantics, some comments stemming from a prototype implementation are discussed.
