We report an important correction to recently reported 12C16O2 transition frequencies and derived spectroscopic constants. A total of 44 previously corresponding transitions in the (30012 ← 00001) (30013 band with uncertainties as low 200 Hz are modified by including effect photon-absorption-induced recoil shifts.
