リンゴ ‘紅の夢’ は果肉にアントシアニンが蓄積して着色する品種であるが，その果肉の着色は果実によって異なり，ばらつきが大きいことが生産の課題になっている．本研究では，この着色のばらつきの要因を明らかにして着色を改善する方法を明らかにするために，特に光環境の直接的・間接的な影響について研究を行った．その結果，果肉のアントシアニン含量と果皮のアントシアニン含量との間には有意な強い相関が認められ，特に果皮に近い果肉のアントシアニン含量は果皮のアントシアニン含量が増加するにつれて増加した．LEDによる青色光（450～470 nm）照射によって樹上と採取した果実の果皮に近い果肉のアントシアニン含量が増加し，また，果肉切片に青色光を照射した場合もアントシアニン含量が増加した．一方，果肉が着色する前の側枝への環状剥皮と摘葉によって有袋果と無袋果の果肉のアントシアニン含量は有意に減少した．これらの...
