Abstract This paper presents the first record of Rhabdosargus sarba (Forsskål 1775) in Mediterranean Sea and Syrian marine waters. One specimen (163 mm TL, 66.45 g TW) was caught by trammel nets at a depth range between 50 60 m, from Lattakia coast, on 31 January 2021. represents sighting this immigrant species that entered to waters Red Sea. key is provided.
