We propose a new transient model which naturally extends the sinusoidal model to nonstationary phenomena. An integrated online-offline segmentation approach is developed, followed by an explicitly time-variant sinusoidal model.

This paper is focused on the analysis of the current distribution of symmetrical full-wave dipole antenna based on double and triple feeding techniques; the current distributions were measured using a shielded loop protruding through a slit in the antenna surface along its axis, gives exact and accurate measurement rather than sinusoidal approximation. However, the sinusoidal distributions of c...

BACKGROUND Transformers are used for isolation and to convert signals from single-ended to differential. A factor often overlooked when using transformers in the front-end circuitry of high-speed A/D converters is that they are never ideal. With sinusoidal input signals, any imbalance introduced by the transformer delivers an imperfect sinusoidal wave to the input of the ADC, and results in ove...

This paper focuses on three commonly used sensorless methods based on high-frequency signal injection; namely, the rotating sinusoidal injection in the stationary reference frame, the pulsating sinusoidal injection in the estimated synchronous reference frame, and the pulsating square wave injection in the estimated synchronous reference frame. Although these methods have found applications in ...

Abstract The paper presents a split-level sinusoidal power supply clock generator circuit for Two-Phase Adiabatic Static CMOS Logic circuit (2PASCL). The driving of adiabatic logic requires adiabatic controlled sources of voltage. We study the clock voltage generator circuit using SPICE simulation and investigate the most suitable scheme and highest energy efficiency for the energy recovery pow...

This paper describes a low power clock distribution that utilizes sinusoidal clock waveforms and proposes registers that are able to cope with the overlapping clock edges. We can report power savings of 30% to 70% compared with conventional clocking schemes while maintaining traditional static CMOS design styles and logic levels.

The objective of the work is to model the shape of the sinusoidal shape of regular water waves generated in a laboratory flume. The waves are traveling in time and render a smooth surface, with no white caps or foam. Two methods are proposed, treating the water as a diffuse and specular surface, respectively. In either case, the water is presumed to take the shape of a traveling sine wave, redu...
