The use of linear graphs in the development a mathematical model metal melting an induction crucible furnace allows to determine temperature and control excess main parts furnace. In addition, if it is necessary optimize thermal mode operation according presented graph conversion method, any part with desired parameters can be obtained.

BACKGROUND Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) is a treatment commonly used for managing pain; however, the ideal placement of the electrodes is not fully understood. OBJECTIVE To investigate the best way to apply TENS electrodes in an experimental inflammatory pain model. METHOD Knee joint inflammation was induced in rats, followed by administration of low-frequency TENS (4H...

The article describes a mathematical model of interconnected electromechanical and thermal processes in linear induction motor (LIM). Here, we present the structure provide calculation formulas model. consisted eight control volumes on each tooth pitch LIM. Moreover, also its interaction with was based detailed magnetic electrical equivalent circuits Model verification performed using finite el...

Pain symptoms are a common complication of diabetic peripheral neuropathy or an inflammatory condition. In the most experiments, only one or two evident pain modalities are observed at diabetic peripheral neuropathy according to experimental conditions. Following diabetic peripheral neuropathy or inflammation, spinal glial activation may be considered as an important mediator in the development...

The stress-induced transcription of heat shock genes is controlled by heat shock transcription factor 1 (HSF1), which becomes activated in response to heat and other protein denaturants. In previous research on the eurythermal goby Gillichthys mirabilis, thermal activation of HSF1 was shown to vary as a function of acclimation temperature, suggesting the mechanistic importance of HSF1 activatio...

New metal complexes of Schiff base (PB) prepared from condensation reaction of 2-aminopyridine and 6-formyl-5,7-dihydroxy-2-methylbenzopyran-4-one with metal ions; Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) are prepared. Different analysis tools like elemental analyses, FTIR, thermal analysis, conductivity, electronic spectra, and magnetic susceptibility measurements are all used to elucidate the struc...

Pacific oysters, Crassostrea gigas, living at a range of tidal heights, routinely encounter large seasonal fluctuations in temperature. We demonstrate that the thermal limits of oysters are relatively plastic, and that these limits are correlated with changes in the expression of one family of heat-shock proteins (HSP70). Oysters were cultured in the intertidal zone, at two tidal heights, and m...

Influence of pulse modulation of the coil current sustaining a high-power Ar-N2-H2 induction thermal plasma was experimentally studied on the time-averaged particle composition of the thermal plasma. Optical emission spectroscopy measurement was carried out to obtain the time evolution in the relative radiation intensities of excited atoms and molecules flowing into the reaction chamber. The ra...

The bacterial host range of coliphage P1 was extented by using the heat-inducible phage P1clr100KM. A gene for kanamycin resistance was transferred from Escherichia coli to members of the family Enterobacteriaceae and some other genera of gram-negative bacteria. P1 phage was produced by thermal induction from the lysogens of all these kanamycin-resistant bacteria except some strains.

Using an in vitro system for tail attachment, it is demonstrated that following ultraviolet (UV) induction of Salmonella typhimurium LT2 (P22) most of the particles formed lack a functional tail. This effect is found at all temperatures studied, but is more pronounced at temperatures of 37” and above. Similar results are described for thermal and spontaneous induction. Tailless particles are fo...
