A new terbium(III) complex with a (3,4-diphenyl)(2-methylthienyl)cyclopentadienyl ligand was synthesized. Single-crystal X-ray analysis revealed binuclear biscyclopentadienyl [TbCl2K]2 core. Luminescence properties of the terbium were analyzed.
