We analyse the conditions for producing atomic number states in a one-dimensional optical box using the Bethe ansatz method. This approach provides a general framework, enabling the study of number state production over a wide range of realistic experimental parameters. We study the scattering of Skyrmions at low energy and large separation using the method proposed by Manton of truncation to a finite number of degree freedom. We calculate the induced metric on the manifold of the union of gradient flow curves, which for large separation, to first non-trivial order is parametrised by the variables of the product ansatz.

This paper obtains the solitary wave, shock wave as well as singular soliton solutions to the generalized OstrovskyBenjamin-Bona-Mahoney (gO-BBM) equation. The ansatz method is applied to obtain the solutions. Several constraint conditions for the parameters are derived that establish the existence of the soliton solutions.

The composite operator effective potential is compared with the conventional Dyson–Schwinger method as a calculational tool for (2+1)-dimensional quantum electrodynamics. It is found that when the fermion propagator ansatz is put directly into the effective potential, it reproduces exactly the usual gap equations derived in the Dyson–Schwinger approach.
