Abstract In this manuscript, we present a new notion which is named as extended N b -cone metric space over Banach algebra and investigate some fixed point results in the setting. order to examine validity of underlying gave an application for existence uniqueness solution system Fredholm integral equation. At last, interesting examples illustrate our work.
The purpose of this note is to give a natural approach to the extensions of the Banach Contraction Principle in metric spaces endowed with a partial order, a directed graph or a binary relation in terms of extended quasi-metric. This novel approach is new and may open the door to other new fixed point theorems. The case of multivalued mappings is also discussed and an analogue result to Nadler’...
In S.G. Matthews [Partial metric topology, in: Proc. 8th Summer Conference on General Topology and Applications, in: Ann. New York Acad. Sci., vol. 728, 1994, pp. 183-197], the author introduced and studied the concept of partial metric space, and obtained a Banach type fixed point theorem on complete partial metric spaces. The present paper forms part of the study of possible extensions of met...
We study the Casimir effect for a Bosonic string extended between D-branes, and living in a flat space with an antisymmetric background B-field. We find the Casimir energy as a function of the B-field, and the mass-parameter of the string, and accordingly we obtain a B-dependence correction term to the ground-state mass of the string. We show that for sufficiently large B-field, the ground stat...
In this paper, we describe some topological properties of dualistic partial metric spaces and establish some fixed point theorems for weak contraction mappings of rational type defined on dual partial metric spaces. These results are generalizations of some existing results in the literature. Moreover, we present examples to illustrate our result.
in the present paper, we give a new approach to caristi's fixed pointtheorem on non-archimedean fuzzy metric spaces. for this we define anordinary metric $d$ using the non-archimedean fuzzy metric $m$ on a nonemptyset $x$ and we establish some relationship between $(x,d)$ and $(x,m,ast )$%. hence, we prove our result by considering the original caristi's fixedpoint theorem.
Let (M, ∂M) be a compact 3-manifold with boundary which admits a complete, convex co-compact hyperbolic metric. We are interested in the following question: Question A Let h be a (non-smooth) metric on ∂M , with curvature K > −1. Is there a unique hyperbolic metric g on M , with convex boundary, such that the induced metric on ∂M is h ? There is also a dual statement: Question B Let h be a (non...
The idea of probabilistic metric space was introduced by Menger and he showed that probabilistic metric spaces are generalizations of metric spaces. Thus, in this paper, we prove some of the important features and theorems and conclusions that are found in metric spaces. At the beginning of this paper, the distance distribution functions are proposed. These functions are essential in defining p...
