We consider recent developments in the theory of the two-photon interferometry in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions with emphasis on the difference between photon and hadron interferometry. We review the available experimental results and discuss possibilities of measurement of the photon Bose-Einstein correlations in ongoing and future experiments.

Holographic interferometry was used to study the vibration modes of a C4 handbell. Holographic interferograms were made of four of the vibration modes of the bell. Finite element analysis was used to create a preliminary model of the bell.

We propose a tractor atom interferometer (TAI) based on three-dimensional (3D) confinement and transport of split atomic wavefunction components in potential wells that follow programmed paths.
