Ameloblastic fibroma is a rare mixed odontogenic tumor mostly occurring in the posterior region of the mandible. The peripheral variant is very rare and to the best of our knowledge, only three cases have been reported in the English literature. In this report, we describe a case of peripheral ameloblastic fibroma in a 54-year-old woman with two years of follow-up.
The peripheral cementifying fibroma (PCF) is a reactive gingival overgrowth occurring frequently in the maxillary anterior region in teenagers and young adults. We report a case of peripheral cementifying fibroma occurring on the buccal gingiva in relation to the mandibular left canine & first premolar region in a 27 year old female patient.
Cemento-ossifying fibroma is a mesodermal, slow-growing, benign fibro-osseous lesion of the jaws. A case of mandibular molar enlargement that was treated previously by other surgeons and diagnosed as cemento-ossifying fibroma, is presented. Two recurrences occurred 4 and 8 years after surgery due to incomplete surgical removal.
Tumors were induced in adult and newborn rabbits by inoculation of fibroma virus. After 10 to 14 days, oil-induced peritoneal macrophages were harvested, purified, and tested in vitro for interferon synthesis after stimulation with specific and nonspecific viruses. Peritoneal macrophages from adult rabbits that had initiated tumor regression produced high levels of interferon (titers ranged fro...

Commonly used synonyms for POF include calcifying fibroblastic granuloma, peripheral fibroma with calcification, peripheral cementifying fibroma, and calcifying or ossifying fibrous epulis. Case Report: This article prese...
Juvenile ossifying fibroma is an uncommon benign fibro-osseous lesion occurring in the craniofacial skeleton with a high recurrence rate. It has two distinct histopathologic variants: one trabecular and the other which are exclusive to each other. This case reveals a rare and unique combination of both the patterns in the same lesion.
The patient was a 37-year-old woman with abdominal pain. A huge mass was noticed during the abdominal examination, and ultrasonography reported a large uterine fibroma with the size of 105x100x101 mm. The patient was hospitalized for abdominal hysterectomy. During the operation, opening the parietal peritoneum led to a massive bleeding and a drop in patient’s blood temperature. The fibroma was ...
