The particle size control of drug is one of the most important factors affecting the efficiency of the nano-drug production in confined liquid impinging jets. In the present research, for this investigation the confined liquid impinging jet was used to produce nanoparticles of Carbamazepine. The effects of several parameters such as concentration, solution and anti-solvent flow rate and solvent...

Motion events typically involve an entity moving along a path in a certain manner. Research on language typology has identified three types of languages based on the characteristic expression of manner and path information. In satellite-framed languages, the main verb expresses information about manner of movement and a subordinate satellite element (e.g., a verb particle) to the verb conveys t...

in this work, mn ferrite nanopowders were prepared by co-precipitation method and were characterized. phase identification of the nanopowders was performed by x-ray diffraction method and the mean particle size of the nanopowders was calculated by scherrer's formula, using necessary corrections. magnetic parameters of the prepared nanopowders were measured by a vibrating sample magnetomete...

A model of sentence comprehension postulating that Subject-Verb-Object relations are specified prior to Noun-Adjective relations received support from a study of the speed at which sentences with various kinds of violations could be rejected. Compatible with the sequential model was the finding that Noun-Verb and Adjective-Noun double violations did not result in shorter RTs than Noun-Verb sing...

The notion ‘preverb’ is a traditional descriptive notion in Indo-European linguistics. It refers to morphemes that appear in front of a verb, and which form a close semantic unit with that verb. In many cases, the morpheme that functions as a preverb can also function without a preverbal context, often as an adverb or an adposition. Most linguists use the notion ‘preverb’ as a cover term for pr...

This paper proposes a range of techniques for extracting English verb–particle constructions from raw text corpora, complete with valence information. We propose four basic methods, based on the output of a POS tagger, chunker, chunk grammar and dependency parser, respectively. We then present a combined classifier which we show to consolidate the strengths of the component methods.

We present a constructivist neural network model of German past participle verb inflection. The model builds its architecture in response to the learning task in a way consistent with neurobiological and psychological evidence. In contrast to most single-route connectionist models with a fixed, homogeneous architecture our model (1) reaches adult performance on an extensive corpus of German ver...
