Kinodynamic planning algorithms like RapidlyExploring Randomized Trees (RRTs) hold the promise of finding feasible trajectories for rich dynamical systems with complex, non-convex constraints. In practice, these algorithms perform very well on configuration space planning, but struggle to grow efficiently in systems with dynamics or differential constraints when using conventional proximity met...

Over the years, systematic search for stiff model solvers that are near-optimal has attracted attention of many researchers. An attempt been made in this research to formulate an implicit Four-Point Hybrid Block Integrator (FPHBI) simulations some renowned rigid models. The integrator is formulated by using Lagrange polynomial as basis function. properties which include order, consistency, and ...

Hematopoiesis, the dynamic process of blood cell development, is regulated by the activity of the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling pathway and by many transcription factors. However, the molecules and mechanisms that regulate BMP/Smad signaling in hematopoiesis are largely unknown. Here, we show that the Integrator complex, an evolutionarily conserved group of proteins, functions in z...

Pavement surface unevenness plays a pivotal role on roughness index of road which affects on riding comfort ability. Comfort ability refers to the degree of protection offered to vehicle occupants from uneven elements in the road surface. So, it is preferable to have a lower roughness index value for a better riding quality of road users. Roughness is generally defined as an expression of irreg...

In this paper we develop, study, and test a Lie group multisymplectic integrator for geometrically exact beams based on the covariant Lagrangian formulation. We exploit the multisymplectic character of the integrator to analyze the energy and momentum map conservations associated to the temporal and spatial discrete evolutions.

A new electronically tunable differential integrator (ETDI) and its extension to voltage controlled quadrature oscillator (VCQO) design with linear tuning law are proposed; the active building block is a composite current feedback amplifier with recent multiplication mode current conveyor (MMCC) element. Recently utilization of two different kinds of active devices to form a composite building ...

The problem considered is the design of a feedback system containing a linear, time-invariant, minimum-phase plant, whose parameters are known only within given bounds, such that the time-response of the system remains within specified limits. A quasi-optimal design, for given design constraints, is one which minimizes the effect of white sensor-noise on the input to the plant. Horowitz and Sid...

The leaky integrator, the basis for many neuronal models, possesses a negative group delay when a time-delayed recurrent inhibition is added to it. By means of this delay, the leaky integrator becomes a predictor for some frequency components of the input signal. The prediction properties are derived analytically, and an application to a local field potential is provided.
