During past years we have developed the MOMIS (Mediator envirOnment for Multiple Information Sources) system for the integration of data from structured and semi-structured data sources. In this paper we propose a new system, MIKS (Mediator agent for Integration of Knowledge Sources), which enriches the MOMIS architecture exploiting the intelligent and mobile agent features.
