THE EVIDENCE for and against the presence in cells of embryo and foetal mice of transplantation antigens, the cell-bound substances provoking the rejection of allogeneic tissue homografts, rests on two classes of experiments: those relying upon serological techniques for the detection of the antigens, and those involving some test of transplantation antigen activity in intact animals. Experimen...
A practical and efficient method for exploiting second order Rayleigh-Schrödinger perturbation theory to approximate the correlation energy contribution to the London dispersion interaction is presented. The correlation energy is estimated as the Møller-Plesset contribution computed using single particle orbitals from hybrid exchange density functional theory as the reference state.
Principal contributions to QED radiative effects for Moller scattering of polarized particles are investigated both on the Born level and taking into account radiative corrections (RC). Scattering on the case of longitudinal and transversal polarized targets is also considered. In a general way the expressions for differential cross section and polarization asymmetry (PA) have been defined, and...
The reaction of (NO(+))(NO3(-)) with water is modelled in ONONO2·(H2O)4 clusters. Molecular Dynamics simulations using second-order Møller-Plesset perturbation (MP2) theory support the feasibility of the reaction of a charge-separated species to produce HONO and nitric acid.
This paper presents MarkPledge3 (MP3), the most efficient implementation of the MarkPledge (MP) technique. The MP technique allows the voter to verify that her vote is correctly encrypted with a soundness of 1−2−α, with 20 ≤ α ≤ 30, just by performing a match of a small string (4-5 characters). MP3 presents significant improvements over the previous MP specifications MP1 and MP2, namely approxi...
This extended abstract describes the algorithms for beat tracking and structural segmentation submitted as DP1 and MP1–2 to MIREX2013.
Abstract We examine the impacts of time-delay and phase shift between two acoustic driving forces on vibrational resonance (VR) phenomena in oscillations a spherical gas bubble. Using approximate method direct separation motions, we obtain equation slow motion response amplitude, validate theoretical predictions with numerical simulations. find that amplitude system at lower frequency varies per...
