Grinding fluid often struggles to enter the grinding area and overcoming this challenge has been a major focus of research in recent years. Therefore, CNTs@T304 nano-capsules are prepared by filling cavities CNTs with lubricant T304. were used as an additive paper prepare resin wheels nanofluids, respectively. The filled for under lubrication T304 could then be released play self-lubricating ro...

In this study, a realistic model for dynamic instability of embedded single-walled nanotubes (SWCNTs) conveying pulsating fluid is presented considering the viscoelastic property of the nanotubes using Kelvin–Voigt model. SWCNTs are placed in longitudinal magnetic fields and modeled by sinusoidal shear deformation beam theory (SSDBT) as well as modified couple stress theory. The effect of slip ...

BACKGROUND Nano bamboo charcoal is being widely used as sustained release carrier for chemicals for its high specific surface area, sound biocompatibility, and nontoxicity; however, there have been no reports on nano bamboo charcoal as sustained release carrier for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). OBJECTIVE To study the effect of nano bamboo charcoal in absorbing and sustained releasing Eu...

Abstract Compared with low-permeability oil reservoirs, tight reservoirs have more nanopores, complex pore structure, and obvious nonlinear seepage characteristics. Under the macro-scale channel flow, influence of micro-forces is often ignored, but micro-nano-scale become main factors affecting flow. The flow different from requires force between fluid micro-nano tubes. article conducts thresho...

We have investigated the diffusion coefficient of nano-meter-sized domains on a vesicle composed of saturated phospholipids, unsaturated phospholipids and cholesterols by means of neutron spin echo spectroscopy. The obtained diffusion coefficient was examined from a viewpoint of the hydrodynamic model of Brownian objects in a fluid membrane.

Using computational modeling, we design nano-structured surfaces able to selectively regulate interactions between microchannel walls and flowing colloid-polymer suspensions. Depending on the geometry of nanoscopic posts lining internal channel surfaces, suspended nanoparticles and polymeric chains can be either hydrodynamically attracted to channel walls or repelled to the bulk fluid.

BACKGROUND Because associations have been reported between inhaled ambient ultrafine particles and increased risk of cardiopulmonary disease, it has been suggested that inhaled engineered nanoparticles (NPs) may also induce adverse effects on the cardiovascular system. OBJECTIVE We examined the long-term cardiovascular effects of inhaled nickel hydroxide NPs (nano-NH) using a sensitive mouse ...

We investigate the interparticle interactions, phase behavior, and structure of microsphere-nanoparticle mixtures that possess high size and charge asymmetry. We employ a novel Monte Carlo simulation scheme to calculate the effective microsphere interactions in suspension, yielding new insight into the origin of the experimentally observed behavior. The initial settling velocity, final sediment...
