Abstract In this work, analytical solutions for the time dependences concentration of each chemical species are determined in a class nucleation-growth type kinetic models nanoparticle formation. These have an infinitely large number dependent variables and describe studied process without approximations. Symbolic found mass kernel (where reactivity is directly proportional to nanoparticle) dif...

We show that cationic nanoparticles encapsulated within vesicles of phosphocholine lipid can induce pearling. The dynamic process occurs as two stages: formation of tubular protrusions followed by pearling instability. The breakup into individual vesicles can be controlled by nanoparticle concentration.

Recovery Factor is an important parameter in determining commercial viability of the oil Reservoirs. Wettability is a major factor that affects oil Recovery. Therefore, changing rock wettability may enhance oil recovery. In this paper, the effect of polysilicon nanoparticles on wettability change of Iranian carbonate reservoir is investigated. To assess this, hydrophilic changes of carbonate ro...

in this work, nanocomposites comprising copper nanoparticle in cellulose acetate (CA)matrices have been prepared. In this manner, Copper nanoparticles prepared by its saltreduced by sodium borohydride at various concentration. Then this nanoparticle solution wasmixed with polymer solution and electrospun by electrospinning device. The abovenanocomposite has been successfully detected by SEM, ED...

In this work, a new algorithm is proposed to compute single particle (infinite dilution) thermodiffusion using nonequilibrium molecular dynamics simulations through the estimation of the thermophoretic force that applies on a solute particle. This scheme is shown to provide consistent results for model nanofluids in the liquid state (spherical nonmetallic nanoparticles+Lennard-Jones fluid) wher...

B16-melanoma-bearing mice were treated with four different formulations containing equivalent doses of the highly effective antineoplastic drug mitoxantrone. The formulations were: A mitoxantrone solution, a negatively charged liposome preparation (small unilamellar vesicles), a 14C-labeled polybutylcyanoacrylate- (PBCA) nanoparticle suspension, and a suspension of poloxamine 1508-coated 14C-PB...

Biopolymers have been employed in enhanced oil recovery (EOR) due to their high viscosity and significant effects on waterflooding performance. Sodium alginate (NaAlg) is an excellent biopolymer that extracted primarily from brown algae. It has used the biotechnology industry as a thickening agent, colloidal stabilizer, application. In present study, series of sodium alginate/zirconium oxide na...

BACKGROUND Lipid-based dispersion of nanoparticles provides a biologically inspired route to designing therapeutic agents and a means of reducing nanoparticle toxicity. Little is currently known on how the presence of nanoparticles influences lipid vesicle stability and bilayer phase behavior. In this work, the formation of aqueous lipid/nanoparticle assemblies (LNAs) consisting of hydrophobic ...
