Recommended by Lech G ´ orniewicz We prove a result on points of coincidence and common fixed points for three self-mappings satisfying generalized contractive type conditions in cone metric spaces. We deduce some results on common fixed points for two self-mappings satisfying contractive type conditions in cone metric spaces. These results generalize some well-known recent results.

In this paper we prove the existence of common fixed points for a pair of self mappings under strict contractive conditions in the settings of a fuzzy metric space. Also we prove a common fixed point theorem for a quadruplet of self mappings in fuzzy metric space. In this paper, we deal with the geometric properties of non-unique fixed points for self-mappings a metric space (resp. an S-metric space). The fixed-disc fixed-circle) problem has been investigated in setting. To obtain new results, modify some known fixed-point techniques. Illustrative examples are also given to show validity our main results.

A certain ‘pressure’ functional Φ(T1, . . . , TN ), defined as the limit of sums of singular value functions of products of linear mappings (T1, . . . , TN ), is central in analysing fractal dimensions of self-affine sets. We investigate the continuity of Φ with respect to the linear mappings (T1, . . . , TN ) which underlie the self-affine sets.

and Applied Analysis 3 It is an interesting problem to extend the above results to a strongly continuous semigroup of nonexpansive mappings and a strongly continuous semigroup of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings. Let S be a strongly continuous semigroup of nonexpansive self-mappings. In 1998 Shioji and Takahashi 11 introduced, in Hilbert space, the implicit iteration

In the present paper‎, ‎we show the existence of a coupled fixed point for a non-decreasing mapping in partially ordered complete metric space using a partial order induced by an appropriate function $phi$‎. ‎We also define the concept of weakly related mappings on an ordered space‎. ‎Moreover common coupled fixed points for two and three weakly related mappings are also proved in the same space‎.

The problem of iterative roots for strictly monotone self-mappings has been well solved. Most of known results concerning existence of iterative roots for a continuous function were given under the assumption that the function has finitely many non-monotonic points. When a function has infinitely many non-monotonic points, the problem of the existence of its iterative roots will become more com...

in this paper, sufficient conditions for the existence ofcommon fixed points for a compatible pair of self maps of gregustype in the framework of convex metric spaces have been obtained.also, established the existence of common fixed points for a pair ofcompatible mappings of type (b) and consequently for compatiblemappings of type (a). the proved results generalize and extend someof the well k...
