Some inequalities in normed algebras that provides lower and upper bounds for the norm of ∑n j=1 ajxj are obtained. Applications for estimating the quantities ∥∥∥∥x−1∥∥x± ∥∥y−1∥∥ y∥∥ and ∥∥∥∥y−1∥∥x± ∥∥x−1∥∥ y∥∥ for invertible elements x, y in unital normed algebras are also given.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of λ-statistical convergence in n-normed spaces. Some inclusion relations between the sets of statistically convergent and λ-statistically convergent sequences are established. We find its relations to statistical convergence, (C,1)-summability and strong (V, λ)-summability in n-normed spaces.
In this paper we define the concepts of λ-statistical convergence and λ-statistically Cauchy in probabilistic normed space and prove some interesting results.
