In this paper, a scheme which is composed of two Kalman Filters is used to estimate the pose of a mobile platform whose kinematic model of odometer is subjected to systematic errors. Systematic errors of kinematic model of odometer which are considered to be soft-failure are modelled as an unknown disturbance to plant model of Kalman Filter. Using the fact that bias pattern in filter innovation...

The major diagnostic characters and qualitative chemical and physical tests responsible for the pharmacognostic identity of the leaf and of root of Polyscias fruticosa (L) Harms have been reported. Literature survey showed the absence of any systematic pharmacognostic studies for this plant.

Global climate change presents a threat for the environment, and it is aggravated by mismanagement of water use in agricultural sector. Since plants are intermediate component soil–plant–atmosphere continuum, their physiology directly affected availability, plant-based approaches proved to be sensitive effective estimating plant status can used as possible water-saving strategy crop irrigation ...

abstract over the last fifty years, most of the semi-arid rangeland in iran has been converted to cropland without an equivalent reduction in grazing animals. this shift has led to heavy grazing pressure on rangeland vegetation. the present study has been conducted in sisab research station in the north khorasan province to evaluate effects of long-term grazing exclosures on biodiversity of ran...

The contribution of this paper presents a systematic, indicator and process heuristics based retrofit method for batch processes. The developed framework considers the identification of improvement opportunities in a generic batch plant by considering also the product market situation. The evaluation of retrofit actions is performed using dynamic batch models.

The occurrence of polyprenols in leaves of over 340 species of dendroflora in natural habitats in the regions of Hanoi and Hue in Vietnam was studied. Plant material was collected in the late autumn (October/November) during the end of a vegetation season. Leaves of about 200 plant species did not contain detectable amounts of polyprenols in contrast to few systematic families, e.g. Moraceae, E...

Unlike animals, plants are sessile organisms, lacking circulating antibodies and specialized immune cells and are exposed to various harsh environmental conditions that make them at risk of being attacked by different pathogens and herbivores. Plants produce chemo-signals to respond to the surroundings and be able to distinguish between harmless and harmful signals. In this study, the productio...
