This paper describes the land use classification of multispectral digital aerial images, the removal of buildings from the digital surface model and the visualization of the textured digital surface model with reconstructed buildings. The proposed approach applies spectral classification techniques to multispectral digital aerial images with RGB and NIR channels. The results of the land use cla...
This paper proposes the use of subdiffraction-limit (SDL) pixels in a new solidstate imaging paradigm – the emulation of the silver halide emulsion film process. The SDL pixels can be used in a binary mode to create a gigapixel digital film sensor (DFS). It is hoped that this paper may inspire revealing research into the potential of this paradigm shift.
Derivation and analysis of sampling patterns of traditional and focused plenoptic cameras show the former rotates pixels π/2 in phase space, while the latter does not. These results are interpreted regarding the cameras’ spatial resolution. © 2009 Optical Society of America OCIS codes: (080.2730) Matrix methods in paraxial optics, (040.1490) Cameras.
The nondestructive characteristics of γ-photon imaging technology make it attractive potential in the industry. However, industrial detection with a large range and high resolution, iteration method, image reconstruction algorithm which is most widely used, faces challenge an overly system matrix, current compression algorithms using geometric symmetry positron emission tomography (PET) have pr...
Specifying regions of interest to search 3D anatomical space can be di cult. Ontology-based queries are often imprecise and return extra (unwanted) data. Drawing regions of interest in graphical 3D representations of a model organism in principle allows for high precision, but user interfaces can be awkward to use and time consuming. In this poster we promote the use of spatial descriptions as ...
MicroLED arrays with the capability of switching each pixel separately high frequency can serve as structured micro-illumination light engines for applications in sensing, optogenetics, microscopy and many others. We describe a scalable chip process chain fabrication passive-matrix microLED arrays, which were integrated PCB-based driving electronics. The produced by deep-etching conventional pl...
