We consider an MMPP/G/1/K nite queue with twolevel threshold overload control. This model has frequently arisen in the design of the integrated communication systems which support a wide range applications having various Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. Through the supplementary variable method, we derive the queue length distribution.
We study an M/G/1 queue with two stages of heterogeneous service and single working vacation.Using supplementary variable approach we derive the probability generating function for the number of customers and the average number of customers in the system. Some special cases of interest are discussed. Mathematics Subject Classification: 60K25, 60K30
In M/G/1 retrial queueing system with two types of customers and feedback, we derived the joint generating function of the number of customers in two groups by using the supplementary variable method. It is shown that our results are consistent with those already known in the literature when δk = 0(k = 1, 2), λ1 = 0 or λ2 = 0.
Hydrogen-graphite interactions are relevant to a wide variety of applications, ranging from astrophysics to fusion devices and nano-electronics. In order to shed light on these interactions, atomistic simulation using Molecular Dynamics (MD) has been shown to be an invaluable tool. It suffers, however, from severe time-scale limitations. In this work we apply the recently developed Collective V...
