A series of amino acid ester derivatives containing 5-fluorouracil were synthesized using 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC*HCl) and N-hydroxybenzotriazole (HOBt) as a coupling agent.
