The digitization of Cultural Heritage paves the way for new approaches to surveying and restitution historical sites. With a view management integrated programs documentation conservation, research is now focusing on creation information systems where link digital representation building semantic knowledge. reference emblematic case study Calci Charterhouse, also known as Pisa this contribution...

Architectural Description Languages (ADLs) specify elements that comprise software architecture, the relationship between such element, as well as architectural constraints. Representation of architectural constraints in design rules that guide the development process is necessary to enforce architectural properties. In this article, we propose a strategy for mapping architectural constraints d...

The JAVA/A approach aims at semantically well-founded and coherent modelling and programming concepts for components: based on sound theoretical foundations it enhances the widely used UML 2.0 component model by modular analysis and verification techniques and a Java-based architectural programming language. Our JAVA/A component model is inspired by ideas from “Real-Time Object Oriented Modelin...

Visualization is an important aspect of architectural design. This field has evolved and influenced continuously the design medium and process. Architecture implies experience of space and experience relies on motion. Presently, the visualization process offers minimal experiential feed-back as it lacks immersive and proprioceptive output. Recent technological leaps necessitate a re-evaluation ...

A computational model of the visual complexity of solids is presented. It is based on using a qualitative representation for 3-dimensional objects as semantic graphs. Then information-theoretic measures are constructed for these graphs. This measure of visual complexity allows for the comparison of different architectural forms. An example of the application of this model is presented.

We describe a representation scheme and an analysis engine using that scheme, both of which have been used to develop infrastructure for HLT. The Shakti Standard Format is a readable and robust representation scheme for analysis frameworks and other purposes. The representation is highly extensible. This representation scheme, based on the blackboard architectural model, allows a very wide vari...

The Cantonese sentences in (2) illustrate these claims. They denote past events and there are no markers attached to the verb (subclaim (1a)). Subclaim (1b) is illustrated by the minimal pair in (2b) and (2c): the latter describes a current situation and the former, with the temporal adverb ML FLQ ‘formerly’, describes a past event. (The superscripts in the Cantonese renderings are tone markers.)
