In this paper, we characterize λ-nuclear maps in term of pseudoλλ×-nuclear maps. Then we use our result to give a characterization of a λ(A)-nuclear map where λ(A) is a smooth sequence space of finite or infinite type. Mathematics Subject Classification: 46A45, 46A11
We investigate the existence of positive solutions of a system of higher-order nonlinear ordinary differential equations, subject to multi-point boundary conditions. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 34B10, 34B18.
In this paper, we study pseudo-slant submanifolds of nearly Kaehler manifolds. A classification theorem on a totally umbilical pseudo-slant submanifold of a nearly Kaehler manifold is proved. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 53C40, 53B25, 53C15.
Three conjectural directions in Gromov-Witten theory are discussed: Gorenstein properties, BPS states, and Virasoro constraints. Each points to basic structures in the subject which are not yet understood. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 14N35, 14H10 .
A 2-dimensional dissipative Euler equation, subject to a random perturbation is considered. Using compactness arguments, existence of martingale stationary solutions are proved. Mathematics Subject Classification (2000). Primary 60H15, Secondary 76D05.
I discuss some arithmetic aspects of higher-dimensional algebraic geometry. I focus on varieties with many rational points and on connections with classification theory and the minimal model program. Mathematics Subject Classification (2000). Primary 14G05; Secondary 14G40.
If κ is strongly compact and λ > κ and λ is regular (or alternatively cf(λ) ≥ κ), then ` 2 ́+ → (λ+ ζ) θ holds for ζ, θ < κ. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification. 2000 Math Subject Classification: 03E02. I would like to thank Alice Leonhardt for the beautiful typing. Research of the author was partially supported by the United States-Israel Binational Science Foundation. Publ.761. Latest Rev...
Let m be a natural number, and let Q be a set containing at least exp(Cm) primes. We show that one can find infinitely many strings of m consecutive primes each of which has some q ∈ Q as a primitive root, all lying in an interval of length OQ(exp(C ′m)). This is a bounded gaps variant of a theorem of Gupta and Ram Murty. We also prove a result on an elliptic analogue of Artin’s conjecture. Let...
Examples of twisted forms of finite étale extensions and separable polynomials are calculated using Mayer-Vietoris sequences for non-abelian cohomology. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification. 13B05, 13B25, 13B40.
In this paper we will classify those translation surfaces in E involving polynomials which are Weingarten surfaces. Mathematics Subject Classification (2000): 53A05, 53A10.
