We review the standard Higgs boson physics and the search for standard Higgs boson at LEP and LHC supercolliders
The weak-boson fusion process is expected to provide crucial information on Higgs boson couplings at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. The achievable statistical accuracy demands comparison with next-to-leading order QCD calculations, which are presented here in the form of a fully flexible parton Monte Carlo program. QCD corrections are determined for jet distributions and are shown to be mod...
We have calculated the width of the rare decay H → γγZ at one-loop level in the standard model for Higgs boson masses in the range 115GeV ≤ mH ≤ 160GeV . For this range of Higgs boson masses we find that Z boson is predominantly longitudinally polarized, and the photons have the same helicity. A comparison of the decay width Γ(H → γγZ) to those of H → γγ and H → γZ shows that, for the Higgs bos...
We study the nonlinear feedback in a fermion-boson system using an extension of dynamical mean-field theory and the quantum Monte Carlo method. In the perturbative regimes ~weak-coupling and atomic limits! the effective interaction among fermions increases as the width of the boson dispersion increases. In the strong-coupling regime away from the antiadiabatic limit, the effective interaction d...
Nonlinear feedback effects due to dispersive bosons are studied in fermion-boson coupled systems by using an extension of dynamical mean-field theory. In the nonperturbative regime, strong coupling and nonadiabaticity reduce effective interaction between fermions as the width of boson dispersion increases. The boson field is completely softened at the crossover to this regime. The softening is ...
This report discusses physics issues which can be addressed in photon and weak boson production in Run II at the Tevatron. The current understanding and the potential of Run II to expand our knowledge of direct photon production in hadronic collisions is discussed. We explore the prospects for using the W-boson cross section to measure the integrated luminosity, improving the measurement of the...

The mass of the W boson is measured at LEP by fully reconstructing the W boson decays. The measurement techniques and systematic uncertainties are presented. The current measurement of the mass of the W boson at LEP yields 80.412 ± 0.042 GeV.
Some results of a calculation of electroweak radiative corrections to W and Z boson production in hadronic collisions are presented. aTalk given by U.B. at the DPF96 Conference, Minneapolis, MN, August 10 – 15, 1996, to appear in the Proceedings ELECTROWEAK RADIATIVE CORRECTIONS TO W AND Z BOSON PRODUCTION IN HADRONIC COLLISIONS U. BAUR Physics Department, SUNY Buffalo, Buffalo, NY 14260 S. KEL...
