Estimating species density and abundance is challenging but important for establishing conservation management strategies. Significant progress has been made toward estimating Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) in the conterminous United States of America (USA) much less known about eagle Alaska. Here, we paired migration count GPS-tracking data collected near Gunsight Mountain, Alaska, a Bayesia...
A novel sternum stabilization implant system is presented in a complex clinical case with previous pseudarthroses. The authors used the advanced closure system Sternal Talon of KLS Martin group and arranged 1 double and 2 single implants in an atypical fashion to fit the patient's needs. One year later follow up has not revealed any recurrence of pain or pseudarthrotic signs such as crepitation.
A patient with multiple anomalies of the maxillary teeth, including shovel-shaped incisors, talon cusp, bilateral dens invaginatus and bilateral peg-shaped supernumerary incisors is reported. The patient also exhibited Carabelli's cusp on both maxillary first molars. No developmental syndrome was identified. This very unusual combination of anomalies has not been reported previously.
Talon cusp is a common dental anomaly affecting maxillary central incisors. Gradual grinding of this additional cusp is commonly followed now. Advocated below is a new technique explaining the use of air abrasion and putty index during the stepwise reduction of the cusp. The technique is advantageous in preventing patient discomfort and tracking the amount of reduction in a predictable way.
dental anomalies are rare findings that may affect development of occlusion and early intervention may be required. here, a case of multiple anomalies in primary and perma nent dentitions is reported. the patient referred to the dental center with the chief complaint of multiple tooth decay. in the oral examination, the rare case of triplica tion between the right geminated man-dibular a and ri...
This document describes the current ADAGE domain model for data source objects and navigation system software. We present models of the DSO and navigation software used in SOA (Special Operations Aircraft) and CT2 (Combat Talon II) as applications of the model.
Spatio-temporal patterns of predator aggregations within their settlement areas (i.e. temporary settling zones used during dispersal or, more generally, foraging patches) were studied. By integrating the main behavioural rules of juveniles of Spanish imperial eagles Aquila adalberti during dispersal with the temporal availability of the eagles’ main prey, we have developed several individual-ba...
