The successful quasi-particle model is compared with recent lattice data of the coefficients in the Taylor series expansion of the excess pressure at finite temperature and baryon density. A chain of approximations, starting from QCD to arrive at the model expressions for the entropy density, is presented.

In this paper we have established relations of the genetic tables with magic and bimagic squares. Connections with Hamming distances, binomial coefficients are established. The idea of Gray code is applied. Shannon entropy of magic squares of order 4 × 4, 8 × 8 and 16 × 16 are also calculated. Some comparison is also made. We examine the isentropic QCD equation of state within a quasiparticle model being adjusted to first principle QCD calculations of two quark flavours. In particular, we compare with Taylor expansion coefficients of energy and entropy densities and with the isentropic trajectories describing the hydrodynamical expansion of a heavy-ion collision fireball.

We consider the full system of compressible Navier-Stokes equations for heat conducting fluid. We show that the temperature is uniformly positive for t ≥ t0 (for any t0 > 0) for any solutions with finite initial entropy.
