In the present work,MoS2 decorated graphene nanocomposite powders were synthesized by laser scribing method.Theobtainedflexible light-scribed graphene/MoS2composites are very suitableas micro-supercapacitors and thus their performance was evaluated at different concentrations. The effect of laser scribing process to reducegraphene oxide (GO) was investigated. The GO/MoS2composite wassynthesized ...

Different nanocomposites between reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and Ni(OH)2 nanoparticles were synthesized through modifications in the polyol method (starting from graphene oxide (GO) dispersion in ethylene glycol and nickel acetate), processed as thin films through the liquid-liquid interfacial route, homogeneously deposited over transparent electrodes and spectroscopically, microscopically and...

In this work, plasmon characteristics of nanocomposite materials based on graphene, graphene oxide, and silver nanoparticles have been studied. The effective dielectric constant absorption coefficient the nanocomposites graphene-silver oxide – depending concentration size calculated. A change in filling factor by 5 percent leads to significant changes both real imaginary parts material. pronoun...

Despite the technological advancement in the biomedical science, cancer remains a life-threatening disease. In this study, we designed an anticancer nanodelivery system using graphene oxide (GO) as nanocarrier for an active anticancer agent gallic acid (GA). The successful formation nanocomposite (GOGA) was characterized using XRD, FTIR, HRTEM, Raman, and UV/Vis spectroscopy. The release study ...

We report the optimized synthesis and electrochemical characterization of a composite of few-layered nanostructured MoS2 along with an electroactive metal oxide BiVO4. In comparison to pristine BiVO4, and a composite of graphene/BiVO4, the MoS2/BiVO4 nanocomposite provides impressive values of charge storage with longer discharge times and improved cycling stability. Specific capacitance values...

Herein, we propose a facile and efficient method to obtain the polystyrene/graphene nanosheets (PS/GNSs) nanocomposite particles. As far as we know, it is the first example that GNSs are attached onto the surface of PS microspheres, with such smooth morphology, and without relying on any surface pretreatments of substrate microspheres.

A facile approach of making scalable nanocomposite and electro-patterned films using graphene oxide (GO) and poly(N-vinylcarbazole) (PVK) is reported. The method involves the layering of polystyrene colloidal templates, electrodeposition of the composite film on template array, and finally removal of the sacrificial templates to reveal the patterned GO-PVK arrays.

Carbon and noble metal nanomaterials exhibit unique properties that have been explored over the last few decades for developing electrochemical sensors and biosensors. Hybridization of nanometals to carbon nanomaterials such as graphene or carbon nanotubes produces a synergistic effect on the electrocatalytic activity when compared to either material alone. However, to date there are no compara...

A series of palladium-based catalysts of metal alloying (Sn, Pb) and/or (N-doped) graphene support with regular enhanced electrocatalytic activity were investigated. The peak current density (118.05 mA cm(-2)) of PdSn/NG is higher than the sum current density (45.63 + 47.59 mA cm(-2)) of Pd/NG and PdSn/G. It reveals a synergistic electrocatalytic oxidation effect in PdSn/N-doped graphene Nanoco...
