The interaction of histone H2B and dodecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (DTAB) was studies via equilibrium dialysis method at two different temperatures, at pH 6.4 in phosphate buffer. The binding data were used to obtain the Gibbs free energy of interaction, which is interpreted in terms of a theoretical model based on the Wyman binding potential. The data were then used to obtain...
in this work, theoretical investigations on carbon nanotube with oxygen atom have been carried out by firstprinciplescalculations and density functional theory and hartree fock theory in 3-216 and 6-316 basis sets. theinteraction energy of the oxygen atom to a cnt is calculated. the effects of this substitutions have beeninvestigated on the during transplantation (10,0) single-walled carbon nan...
The binding interaction of novel podophyllotoxin derivative, (3R,4R)-4-((benzo[d][1,3]dioxol-5-yl)methyl)-dihydro-3-(hydroxy(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl) methyl) furan-2(3H)-one (PPT), with calf thymus DNA (ctDNA) has been examined using UV-Visible absorption spectrophotometry, fluorescence spectroscopy, viscosity measurement and molecular docking studies. UV-Vis absorption results showed hyperchromic ...
The low-energy theory on the world volume of parallel static D3-branes of type 0 strings is the Yang-Mills theory with six scalar fields in the adjoint representation. One-loop corrections in this theory induce Coleman-Weinberg effective potential, which can be interpreted as an interaction energy of D3-branes. The potential is repulsive at short distances and attractive at large ones. In the e...
It is often stated that physicists are concerned with producing a “Theory of Everything”. However, it is clear that we shall never probe all possible interactions at all possible energies. By our very nature we are limited to exploring a very special part of superspace, where spacetime behaves nice and classically, and where matter is distributed in a very orderly way. Indeed we benefit greatly...
The Arkani-Hamed-Dimopoulos-Dvali and the Randall-Sundrum models with extra spacelike dimensions, recently proposed as a solution to the hierarchy problem, are reviewed. We discuss their basic properties and phenomenological effects of particle interactions at high energies, predicted whithin these models.
We prove that under some structure and decay hypotheses, limits of discrete systems with multi-neighbourhood interactions give rise to local energies with bulk and surface part.

I investigate a disordered version of a simplified model of protein folding, with binary degrees of freedom, applied to an ideal β-hairpin structure. Disorder is introduced by assuming that the contact energies are independent and identically distributed random variables. The equilibrium free-energy of the model is studied, performing the exact calculation of its quenched value and proving the ...
We propose new types of theories which combine supersymmetry and some new strong interaction which we generically refer to as supercolor. In some cases which we discuss, supercolor is identical with the familiar Technicolor. These theories are natural. They explain the scale of weak interactions and they do not require any unnatural adjustments. They possess naturally light scalars which give m...
