We introduce the Jungck-multistep iteration and show that it converges strongly to the unique common fixed point of a pair of weakly compatible generalized contractive-like operators defined on a Banach space. As corollaries, the results show that the Jungck-Mann, Jungck-Ishikawa, and Jungck-Noor iterations can also be used to approximate the common fixed points of such maps. The results are im...

The purpose of this paper is to introduce Kirk-type new iterative schemes called Kirk-SP and Kirk-CR schemes and to study the convergence of these iterative schemes by employing certain quasi-contractive operators. By taking an example, we will compare Kirk-SP, Kirk-CR, Kirk-Mann, Kirk-Ishikawa, and Kirk-Noor iterative schemes for aforementioned class of operators. Also, using computer programs...

Bayes-Nash Equilibrium (BNE) is at the root of many significant applications of modern game theory to multiagent systems, ranging from airport security scheduling, to network analysis, to mechanism design in e-commerce. However, the computational complexity of calculating BNEs makes the process prohibitively costly, and the process does not scale well. On the other hand, finding BNEs by simulat...

The aim of this paper is to present some modifications of the biomorphs generation algorithm introduced by Pickover in 1986. A biomorph stands for biological morphologies. It is obtained by a modified Julia set generation algorithm. The biomorph algorithm can be used in the creation of diverse and complicated forms resembling invertebrate organisms. In this paper the modifications of the biomor...

Let q > 1 and E be a real q−uniformly smooth Banach space. Let K be a nonempty closed convex subset of E and T : K → K be a strictly pseudocontractive mapping in the sense of F. E. Browder and W. V. Petryshyn [1]. Let {un} be a bounded sequence in K and {αn}, {βn}, {γn} be real sequences in [0,1] satisfying some restrictions. Let {xn} be the bounded sequence in K generated from any given x1 ∈ K...

In this paper, we prove a strong convergence theorem of modified Ishikawa iteration processes by the new hybrid iterative method introduced by Takahashi et al. (2008) for two relatively asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces under some appropriate conditions. Furthermore, our result improves and generalizes the corresponding results announced by many others. The project was suppo...

In this paper, we introduce and study a new iterative scheme toapproximate a common xed point for a nite family of generalized asymptoticallyquasi-nonexpansive nonself-mappings in Banach spaces. Several strong and weakconvergence theorems of the proposed iteration are established. The main resultsobtained in this paper generalize and rene some known results in the currentliterature.
