Abstract In the study, topical application (1 µl/bee), contact (5 ml/pot/10 bees) and residual effects of eight insecticides (Methiocarb, Alphacypermethrin, Indoxacarb, Spinosad, Thiacloprid + Deltamethrin, Thiamethoxam, Thiamethoxam Lambda-Cyhalothrin Zeta Cypermethrin), which are commonly used in pest control hazelnut cultivation, were investigated on Apis mellifera L. (Hymenoptera:Apidae). T...
In this paper we develop a coalescent model with intralocus gene conversion. Such models are of increasing importance in the analysis of intralocus variability and linkage disequilibrium. We derive the distribution of the waiting time until a gene conversion event occurs in a sample in terms of the distribution of the length of the transferred segment, zeta. We do not assume any specific form o...
It is hypothesized that the bioavailability of αT (alphatocopherol), an antioxidant, can be improved when delivered by poly(lactic-co-glycolic) acid (PLGA) nanopar‐ ticles (NPs) and chitosan covered PLGA nanoparticles (PLGA-Chi NPs), and that the mucoadhesive properties of chitosan may enhance absorption of αT. PLGA and PLGAChi NPs were characterized by measuring entrapment efficiency, size, po...
A mapping f : X → X from a set X to itself has a fixed point if there is an x ∈ X such that f(x) = x. The simplest fixed point theorem is that a continuous function f : [a, b] → [a, b] has at least one fixed point. This is a consequence of the intermediate value theorem from calculus, as follows. Since f(a) ≥ a and f(b) ≤ b, we have f(b) − b ≤ 0 ≤ f(a) − a. The difference f(x)−x is continuous, ...
the present study sought to investigate the impact of using mind-mapping technique instruction on female elementary efl learners reading comprehension; it also investigated their attitudes towards using mind-mapping technique as a tool to improve their reading comprehension. this study followed a quasi-experimental design with two intact groups as experimental, and control groups. the participa...
In this paper, we extend the idea of α-ψ contraction mapping to product spaces by introducing Prešić–Ćirić-type contractions and utilize them prove some coincidence common fixed-point theorems in context ordered metric using α-admissibility mapping. Our newly established results generalize a number well-known from literature. Moreover, give examples that attest credibility our results. Further,...
we show that the variational inequality $vi(c,a)$ has aunique solution for a relaxed $(gamma , r)$-cocoercive,$mu$-lipschitzian mapping $a: cto h$ with $r>gamma mu^2$, where$c$ is a nonempty closed convex subset of a hilbert space $h$. fromthis result, it can be derived that, for example, the recentalgorithms given in the references of this paper, despite theirbecoming more complicated, are not...
In this paper, we use the concept of $C$-class functions introduced by Ansari [4] to prove the existence and uniqueness of common fixed point for self-mappings in modular spaces of integral inequality. Our results extended and generalized previous known results in this direction.
The existence and uniqueness of a periodic solution of the system of differential equations d dt x(t) = A(t)x(t − ) are proved. In particular the Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem and the contraction mapping principle are used in the analysis. In addition, the notion of fundamental matrix solution coupled with Floquet theory is also employed.
