Introduction: Pulmonarymucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (P-MALT) lymphomais a relative rare pulmonary disease. The purpose of our report is to characterize the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of P-MALT lymphoma. Case report: We reported a case with a history of cough, expectoration, night sweat and multiple lung nodules on chest computer tomography. The pathological analysis of the lung biop...

The presentation of a MALT lymphoma in the bladder is exceedingly rare. Furthermore, the optimal treatment of primary MALT confined to the bladder remains to be defined. Here, we report a case of a 65-year-old female with primary MALT lymphoma treated with definitive radiation therapy. The patient received a total dose of 30 Gy in 20 equal daily fractions to the bladder and tolerated the treatm...

background helicobacter pylori (h. pylori) is recognized as the causative agent of peptic and duodenal ulcers, gastric adenocarcinoma, and low-grade mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (malt) lymphoma . in the present study, we investigate the genotoxic damage of lysates of h. pylori in human b lymphocytes. materials and methodsâ  human b lymphocytes were treated with 0, 10, 20, and 30 âµg/ l of ...

Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma is rarely observed in the gallbladder, and its diagnosis before surgery is difficult. This report describes a case of primary MALT lymphoma of the gallbladder in an 80-year-old man. Imaging studies revealed a protruding lesion on the inside of the gallbladder, which led us to diagnose gallbladder carcinoma prior to the patient undergoing extende...

Gastric adenocarcinoma developing concomitantly with a gastric lymphoma of the mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) type is rare. Herein, we report a case with a synchronous primary gastric MALT lymphoma and an early adenocarcinoma of the stomach. A 72-year-old patient with initial presentation of weight loss was found with endoscopy to have a large tumor mass in the gastric body. Pathologi...

The development of gastric mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma is a multistep process and can be clinico-pathologically divided into Helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis, low-grade tumors, and high-grade tumors. The molecular events underlying this progression are largely unknown. However, identification of the genes involved in MALT lymphoma-specific t(11;18)(q21;q21) and t(1...

We describe a low-grade, MALT-lymphoma with multiple, unusually large opacities involving both the lungs in a woman suffering from myasthenia gravis. Unlike other autoimmune diseases, myasthenia gravis has never been associated with MALT-lymphoma thus far. After cyclophosphamide treatment, a complete detersion of the pulmonary opacities was obtained.
