In this paper, variational iteration method (VIM) is applied to solve nonlinear oscillators of fractional order. The time-fractional derivatives are described in the Jumarie’s derivative sense. The application of variational iteration method, developed for differential equations of integer order, is extended to derive explicit analytical solutions of the fractional order nonlinear oscillator’s ...

A fractional time derivative is introduced into Burger’s equation to model losses of nonlinear waves. This term amounts to a time convolution product, which greatly penalizes the numerical modeling. A diffusive representation of the fractional derivative is adopted here, replacing this nonlocal operator by a continuum of memory variables that satisfy local-in-time ordinary differential equation...

In this paper, the modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equation with variable coefficients (vc-mKdV equation) is investigated via two kinds of approaches and symbolic computation. On the one hand, we firstly reduce the vc-mKdV equation to a second-order nonlinear nonhomogeneous ODE using travelling wave-like similarity transformation. And then we obtain its many types of exact fractional solution...

We establish a Liouville-type theorem for a subcritical nonlinear problem, involving a fractional power of the subLaplacian in the Heisenberg group. To prove our result we will use the local realization of fractional CR covariant operators, which can be constructed as the Dirichlet-to-Neumann operator of a degenerate elliptic equation in the spirit of Caffarelli and Silvestre [9], as establishe...

This study makes the first attempt to use the 2/3-order fractional Laplacian modeling of enhanced diffusing movements of random turbulent particle resulting from nonlinear inertial interactions. A combined effect of the inertial interactions and the molecule Brownian diffusivities is found to be the bi-fractal mechanism behind multifractal scaling in the inertial range of scales of moderate Rey...

Numerous applied mathematics and physical applications, such as the simulation of financial mathematics, gas dynamics, nonlinear phenomena in plasma physics, fluid mechanics, ocean engineering, utilize time-fractional generalized Burgers–Fisher equation (TF-GBFE). This describes concept dissipation illustrates how reaction systems can be coordinated with advection. To examine analyze present ev...

A new homotopy perturbation method (NHPM) is applied to system of variable coefficient coupled Burgers' equation with time-fractional derivative. The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo fractional derivative sense. The concept of new algorithm is introduced briefly, and NHPM is examined for two systems of nonlinear Burgers' equation. In this approach, the solution is considered a...

This paper presents conditions for the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for a boundary value problem of a nonlinear fractional differential equation. We show that it has at least one or two positive solutions. The main tool is Krasnosel'skii fixed point theorem on cone and fixed point index theory.

In this paper, we investigate a new type of random $F$-contraction and obtain a common random fixed point theorem for a pair of self stochastic mappings in a separable Banach space. The existence of a unique solution for nonlinear fractional random differential equation is proved under suitable conditions.

in this paper, we consider the inhomogeneous time-fractional nonlinear fisher equation with three known boundary conditions. we first apply a modified homotopy perturbation method for translating the proposed problem to a set of linear problems. then we use the separation variables  method to solve obtained problems. in examples, we illustrate that by right choice of source term in the modified...
