Because of the enormous potential Laser Direct Energy Deposition (L-DED) regarding production and maintenance components with complex geometries, this type Additive Manufacturing processes is great industrial scientific interest. As two principals L-DED, i.e., wire-based (L-DED-W) powder-based (L-DED-P) processes, are commonly used, it indispensable to thoroughly analyze influence raw material ...
Detailed studies of the magnetoresistance of α-(ET)2KHg(SCN)4 and α(ET)2TlHg(SCN)4 as a function of temperature, magnetic field strength, and field orientation are reported. Below 15 K, the temperature dependence of the magnetoresistance is metallic (dR/dT > 0) for magnetic field orientation corresponding to an angular dependent magnetoresistance oscillation (AMRO) minimum and nonmetallic (dR/d...
the mesozoic mashhad granitoid plutons have intruded into ophiolite complexes, meta-sediments and pyroclastics in the binalood region, located sw of mashad city in the ne part of iran. based on petrography and geochemistry, the mashhad granitoids have been classified into 1) grey granite, 2) pink granite, 3) muscovite granite, 4) granodiorite and 5) pegmatite and quartz veins. granitoids show t...
Abstract The goal of this work is to examine the effect hot deformation on shrinkage porosity and nonmetallic inclusions in an AISI 1070 grade steel industrially produced wheel casting. Steel cleanliness important consideration as it influences mechanical properties final product. A high density have been shown be detrimental for properties, especially during rolling. Using a laboratory-scale r...
The Borujerd complex of western Iran is composed of intrusions and their surrounding contact aureole, with, pegmatites and quartz veins. Pegmatites differ in mineralogy, origin and age, and two groups can be distinguished. The Older Pegmatites (about 120 Ma age) intruded contact metamorphic rocks from the early magmatic stage, while the Younger pegmatites (52-70 Ma age) formed during the late m...
We discovered a highly reactive λ(3)-hypervalent iodane species using an inorganic/organic base for the unorthodox synthesis of amides and ketoesters through grafting terminal alkynes. In contrast to the metal-catalyzed dehydrative approaches the in situ generated nonmetallic reagent efficiently created C-N/C-O and C[double bond, length as m-dash]O bonds with amines/alkynes and water at rt.
A short synthetic approach was developed for the synthesis of a common trisaccharide core found in kankanose, kankanoside F, H1, H2, and I isolated from the medicinally active plant Cistanche tubulosa. All glycosylations were carried out under nonmetallic reaction conditions. Yields were very good in all intermediate steps.
