We study the pair production of charginos in e+e−-collisions followed by the decay via R-parity violating LQD̄ operators. We determine the complete matrix element squared for chargino decays via LQD̄ or LLĒ operators. We find regions in MSSM parameter space where the chargino mass is 52.5GeV and the R-parity violating decays of the charginos dominate the gauge decays to neutralinos. At LEP2 this ...

Searches at the ep collider HERA for supersymmetric partners of the Standard Model fermions are presented. Assuming R-parity conservation, selectrons and squarks of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model are excluded for masses up to 65 GeV in a new region of the standard parameter space. Admitting in addition a R-parity violating Yukawa coupling λ ′ , squarks are sought through direct e-q f...

We show that under the operation of parity the front-form (1/2, 0) and (0, 1/2) Weyl spinors (massive or massless) do not get interchanged. This has the important consequence that if a frontform theory containing (1/2, 0)⊕ (0, 1/2) representation space has to be parity covariant then one must study the evolution of a physical system not only along x but also along the x direction. As a result o...

Abstract Using algebraic techniques, one of the co-authors has designed a [155,64,20] low density parity check code based on permutation matrices. This code is quasi-cyclic by construction and hence admits a convolutional representation. A set of low density parity check convolutional codes is derived from this quasi-cyclic code and its generalizations. We investigate the performance of these c...

With the first measurements of the branching ratios and the direct CP asymmetries of Bs → K−K+, K−π+ decays by the CDF collaboration, we constrain the relevant parameter space of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with R-parity violation. Using the constrained R-parity violating couplings, we further examine their possible effects in Bs → K−∗π+, K(∗)−ρ+ and K(∗)±K(∗)∓ decays. We find tha...

An n-bit string is encoded as a sequence of nonorthogonal quantum states. The parity bit of that n-bit string is described by one of two density matrices, r0 (n) and r1 (n) , both in a Hilbert space of dimension 2. In order to derive the parity bit the receiver must distinguish between the two density matrices, e.g., in terms of optimal mutual information. In this paper we find the measurement ...

In an R-parity violating supersymmetric scenario, the lightest neutralino χ̃ 1 is no longer a stable particle. We calculate the branching ratio for the decay mode χ̃ 1 −→ νγ which occurs at the one-loop level. Taking into account bilinear as well as trilinear lepton number violating interactions as the sources of R-parity violation, we make a detailed scan of the parameter space, both with and wi...

We introduce a class of iteratively decodable trellis-constrained codes as a generalization of turbocodes, low-density parity-check codes, serially-concatenated con-volutional codes, and product codes. In a trellis-constrained code, multiple trellises interact to deene the allowed set of codewords. As a result of these interactions, the minimum-complexity single trellis for the code can have a ...

A bstract In this paper we use the spinor-helicity formalism to calculate 3-point functions involving scalar operators and spin- s conserved currents in general 3d CFTs. variables notice that parity-even parity-odd parts of a correlator are related. Upon converting answers momentum space, show correlators can be expressed terms some simple conformally invariant structures. This particular allow...

This paper develops resource-efficient alternatives to modular redundancy for fault-tolerant discrete-time (DT) linear time-invariant (LTI) dynamic systems. The proposed method extends previous approaches that are based on embedding the state of a given DT LTI dynamic system into the redundant state-space of a DT LTI dynamic system of higher state dimension. These embeddings, as well as the emb...
