the methods which are used to analyze microstrip antennas, are divited into three categories: empirical methods, semi-empirical methods and full-wave analysis. empirical and semi-empirical methods are generally based on some fundamental simplifying assumptions about quality of surface current distribution and substrate thickness. thses simplificatioms cause low accuracy in field evaluation. ful...
Small interfering (si)RNAs isolated from Brassica juncea leaves infected by Turnip mosaic virus (TuMV) were characterized by cloning and sequencing. The TuMV siRNA population was dominated by 21 and 22-nt long species originated mainly from the same siRNA hotspots, indicating operational similarity between the plant Dicer-like (DCL) enzymes. Robust GC bias was observed for TuMV siRNAs versus th...
Complete Genome Sequence of Alternanthera mosaic virus, Isolated from Achyranthes bidentata in Asia.
Alternanthera mosaic virus (AltMV) infecting Achyranthes bidentata was first detected in Asia, and the complete genome sequence (6,604 nucleotides) was determined. Sequence identity analysis and phylogenetic analysis confirmed that this isolate is the most phylogenetically distant AltMV isolate worldwide.
Synthesis and antiviral bioactivity of chiral thioureas containing leucine and phosphonate moieties.
A series of novel chiral thioureas 3a-n bearing leucine and phosphonate moieties were synthesized in excellent yields. The structures of the compounds were completely characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H-, 13C-, 31P- and 19F-NMR spectral data. A half-leaf method was used to determine the in vivo protective and curative efficacies of the title products against tobacco mosaic virus (TMV). ...
Phenotypic expression of different genes controlling resistance to tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) in tomato was analysed in the protoplast system using otherwise isogenic breeding lines. Genes Tm-2 and Tin-22 were not expressed and did not prevent TMV-L, a common tomato strain of TMV, infecting and multiplying. By contrast, homozygous gene Tin-I was able to express its effect in protoplasts as well...
Large, high-severity wildfires, or “megafires,” occur periodically in arid Australian spinifex ( Triodia spp.) grasslands after high rainfall periods that trigger fuel accumulation. Proponents of the patch-burn mosaic (PBM) hypothesis suggest these fires are unprecedented modern era and were formerly constrained by Aboriginal patch burning kept landscape levels low. This assumption deserves scr...
background: cutaneous manifestations are commonly observed in the neonatal period. it is important to differentiate physiologic skin lesions from pathologic ones to avoid parents’ concerns. regarding this, the current study aimed to investigate the frequency and localization of salmon patch (sp) and mongolian spot (ms) in iranian newborns to assess the potential relationship between the neonata...
Here we report a novel approach for preparation of a 6-day transdermal drug delivery system (TDDS) as treatment for mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease. The spray drying method was used to prepare microparticles containing the anti-Alzheimer drug. The content of the drug was determined by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) method. The morphology and size range of the microparticles ...
Following the restoration of natural conditions by reducing human pressures, reforestation is currently considered a possible option to accelerate recovery seagrass habitats. Long-term monitoring programs theoretically represent an ideal solution assess whether plan has produced desired results. Here, we report on performance 20 m2 patch Posidonia oceanica transplanted dead matte twelve years a...
