INTRODUCTION
Facial myokymias (FM) are continuous, involuntary, undulating movements of the facial muscles associated with spontaneous electromyographic activity, such as fasciculations and myokymic discharges. They may occur in healthy individuals, or be secondary to multiple sclerosis, posterior fossa tumors, or an inflammatory process.
