In this paper, we introduced the concepts of g ** -closed sets as well as g ** -open sets and studied some of their basic properties. Further we defined g ** -continuous mappings and investigated their basic properties. In addition we obtained g ** -irresolute mappings and some of their properties are derived. This paper deals with a new class of sets namely, Tc fuzzy sets in fuzzy topological spaces (via)  sets. Some characterizations and properties of these sets are investigated. Further, we introduce the concept of Tc fuzzy continuous and Tc fuzzy irresolute mappings.
