BACKGROUND
Endometrial adenocarcinoma usually occurs after menopause, but in 2%-14% of cases, it occurs in young patients (less than 40 years of age) who are eager to preserve their fertility. Its treatment includes hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy, and, in some cases, radiation therapy.
