ß-Cyclodextrin (ß-CD) solubilizes stickies from deinked pulp, commercial adhesive formulations, or magazine inserts, which demonstrates its potential as a washing aid. A new test to simulate coater scratches is described; it involves scraping the test paper sample across the surface of a thin layer chromatography plate and measuring the degree of scratching on the plate. Scratching was signific...
Abstract. Elfiati D, Delvian, Hanum H, Susilowati A, Rachmat HH. 2021. Potential of phosphate solubilizing fungi isolated from peat soils as inoculant biofertilizer. Biodiversitas 22: 3042-3048. Phosphate-solubilizing are the microbes that have ability to dissolve insoluble and made it available for plants. Therefore, purpose this study was obtain phosphate-solubilizing soils. Peat soil samples...
The solubilizing ability of two aromatic hydrotropes, N,N-diethylnicotinamide (DENA) and N,N-dimethylbenzamide (DMBA), was investigated using a set of 13 poorly soluble, structurally diverse drugs. The number of aromatic rings in the solute molecule has a very strong effect on the solubility enhancement produced by either hydrotrope. However, although solubility enhancements in the order of 100...
Understanding the membrane solubilization process and finding effective solubilizing agents are crucial challenges in biochemical research. Here we report results on the interaction of the novel linear alkylamido propyl dimethyl amino propanosulfonate detergents, ASB-14 and ASB-16, with human erythrocyte membranes. An estimation of the critical micelle concentration of these zwitterionic deterg...
phosphate solubilizing bacteria are a group of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (pgpr) that increase growth and yield of plant by enhancing insoluble phosphates. in this study, a greenhouse experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of phosphate solubilizing bacteria and phosphorous fertilizer on the yield and chemical components of sesame. this experiment was conducted in factori...
We report the 8.9 Mb draft genome sequence of phosphate-solubilizing bacterium Paraburkholderia tropica strain P-31, isolated from pomegranate (Punica granatum) rhizosphere. The draft genome sequence of Paraburkholderia tropica strain P-31 consists of 8,881,246 bp with a G+C content of 64.7%, 8,039 protein-coding genes, and 49 RNAs.
We report a novel oral prodrug approach where a solubilizing polymer conjugated to the drug is designed to be released by the action of an exogenously administered agent in the intestine. A redox-sensitive self-immolating design was implemented, and the reconversion kinetics were studied for three reducible prodrugs.
Judicious design of BODIPY dyes carrying nitroethenyl substituents in conjugation with the BODIPY core yields dyes that respond to biological thiols by both absorbance and emission changes. Incorporation of solubilizing ethyleneglycol units ensures water solubility. The result is bright signaling of biologically relevant thiols in the longer wavelength region of the visible spectrum and in aque...
in order to study the combined and separate effects of phosphorus fertilizer, phosphate-solubilizing bacteria and mycorrhizal fungus on adjusting and reducing the loss of yield resulting from drought stress during the stage of growth of grain corn (sc704) an experiment was performed in aboureihan campus of the university of tehran, iran, during 2007-2008. the experiment was conducted as split p...
Here, we report the complete genome sequence of the phosphate-solubilizing bacterium Burkholderia cenocepacia CR318, consisting of three circular chromosomes of 3,511,146 bp, 3,097,552 bp, and 1,056,069 bp. The data presented will facilitate further insight into the mechanisms of phosphate solubilization and its application for agricultural and ecological sustainability.
