In this thesis we provide a body of knowledge that concerns Riemann zeta-function and its generalizations in a cohesive manner. In particular, we have studied and mentioned some recent results regarding Hurwitz and Lerch functions, as well as Dirichlet’s L-function. We have also investigated some fundamental concepts related to these functions and their universality properties. In addition, we ...

This paper uses cybernetic approach to study behavior of the Riemann zeta function. It is based on the elementary cybernetic concepts like feedback, transfer functions, time delays, PI (Proportional–Integral) controllers or FOPDT (First Order Plus Dead Time) models, respectively. An unusual dynamic interpretation of the Riemann zeta function is obtained.

“Fuzzy” models and 802.11 mesh networks have garnered improbable interest from both computational biologists and experts in the last several years. Given the current status of real-time epistemologies, futurists daringly desire the construction of DHCP, which embodies the practical principles of networking. In order to accomplish this ambition, we introduce new concurrent methodologies (Krang),...

We provide a compendium of evaluation methods for the Riemann zeta function, presenting formulae ranging from historical attempts to recently found convergent series to curious oddities old and new. We concentrate primarily on practical computational issues, such issues depending on the domain of the argument, the desired speed of computation, and the incidence of what we call “value recycling”...

We prove a variant of Connes’s trace formula and show how it can be used to give a new proof of the Riemann hypothesis for L-functions with Größencharacter for function fields.

Turing encountered the Riemann zeta function as a student, and developed a life-long fascination with it. Though his research in this area was not a major thrust of his career, he did make a number of pioneering contributions. Most have now been superseded by later work, but one technique that he introduced is still a standard tool in the computational analysis of the zeta and related functions...

In 1918 G. Hardy and J. Littlewood proved an asymptotic estimate for the Second moment of the modulus of the Riemann zeta-function on the segment [1/2,1/2+iT] in the complex plane, as T tends to infinity. In 1926 Ingham proved an asymptotic estimate for the fourth moment. However, since Ingham’s result, nobody has proved an asymptotic formula for any higher moment. Recently J. Conrey and A. Gho...

The convexity properties of the kernel O. Also, lower bounds for the Tunin differences involving the moments of <ll(t) are established. The paper concludes with several questions and open problems.

Several identities for the Riemann zeta-function ζ(s) are proved. For example, if s = σ + it and σ > 0, then ∞ −∞ (1 − 2 1−s)ζ(s) s 2 dt = π σ (1 − 2 1−2σ)ζ(2σ). Let as usual ζ(s) = ∞ n=1 n −s (ℜe s > 1) denote the Riemann zeta-function. The motivation for this note is the quest to evaluate explicitly integrals of |ζ(1 2 + it)| 2k , k ∈ N, weighted by suitable functions. In particular, the prob...

It is proved that the Riemann zeta function does not satisfy any nontrivial algebraic difference equation whose coefficients are meromor-phic functions φ with Nevanlinna characteristic satisfying T (r, φ) = o(r) as r → ∞.
