H reflexes were induced in the human quadriceps muscle by electrical stimulation of the femoral nerve. The reflexes were conditioned by prior stimulation of the inferior soleus nerve. The conditioning stimulus produced an inhibition of long duration (>20 ms). The threshold of this inhibition was at zero soleus motor discharge and the inhibition scaled with soleus motor discharge. It was conclud...

Tensor calculation of suffix-contraction is carried out by a C-program. Tensors are represented graphically, and the algorithm makes use of the topology of the graphs. Classical and quantum gravity, in the weak-field perturbative approach, is a special interest. Examples of the leading order calculation of some general invariants such as RμνλσR μνλσ are given. Application to Weyl anomaly calcul...

In this paper direct proofs of some common fixed point results for two and three mappings under weak contractive conditions are given. Some of these results are improved by using different arguments of control functions. Examples are presented showing that some generalizations cannot be obtained and also that our results are distinct from the existing ones.

The weak minor G of a graph G is the graph obtained from G by a sequence of edge-contraction operations on G. A weak-minor-closed family of upper embeddable graphs is a set G of upper embeddable graphs that for each graph G in G, every weak minor of G is also in G. Up to now, there are few results providing the necessary and sufficient conditions for characterizing upper embeddability of graphs...

In this paper, we modify the KF-iteration process into hyperbolic metric spaces where symmetry condition is satisfied and establish weak w2-stability data dependence results for contraction mappings. We also prove some Δ-convergence strong convergence theorems generalized (α,β)-nonexpansive type 1 Finally, offer a numerical example of mappings show that more effective than other iterations. Our...

The application of rapidly applied length steps to actively contracting muscle is a classic method for synchronizing the response of myosin cross-bridges so that the average response of the ensemble can be measured. Alternatively, electron tomography (ET) is a technique that can report the structure of the individual members of the ensemble. We probed the structure of active myosin motors (cros...

In this paper, we study a generalization of z-ideals in the ring C(X) of continuous real valued functions on a completely regular Hausdorff space X. The notion of a weak ideal and naturally a weak z-ideal and a prime weak ideal are introduced and it turns out that they behave such as z-ideals in C(X).

The aim of the present paper is to obtain common fixed point theorems by employing the recently introduced notion of weak reciprocal continuity. The new notion is a proper generalization of reciprocal continuity and is applicable to compatible mappings as well as noncompatible mappings. We demonstrate that weak reciprocal continuity ensures the existence of common fixed points under contractive...
