In this paper, we generalize a theorem of Shao [12] by assuming that is a sequence of linear negatively dependent random variables. Also, we extend some theorems of Chao [6] and Thrum [14]. It is shown by an elementary method that for linear negatively dependent identically random variables with finite -th absolute moment the weighted sums converge to zero as where and is an array of...
In article, I present a study on upper and lower statistical convergence, strong fractional weighted mean convergence by moduli for triple sequences. One of the generalizations discrete operator Cesàro, was operators, which are linear too. Given modulus function f, established that sequence is f-upper or convergent, in some supplementary conditions, also f-lower statistically convergent. The re...
heuristics are often used to provide solutions for flow shop scheduling problems.the performance of a heuristic is usually judged by comparing solutions and run times on test cases.this investigation proposes an analytical alternative ,called asymptotic convergence ,which tests the convergence of the heuristic to a lower bound as problem size grows. the test is a stronger variation of worst cas...
Abstract We correct a logic mistake in our paper “On statistical convergence and strong Cesàro by moduli” (León-Saavedra et al. J. Inequal. Appl. 23:298, 2019).
We discuss in this paper the strong convergence for weighted sums of negatively orthant dependent (NOD) random variables by generalized Gaussian techniques. As a corollary, a Cesaro law of large numbers of i.i.d. random variables is extended in NOD setting by generalized Gaussian techniques.
In this paper we study the almost universal convergence of weighted sums for sequence {x ,n } of negatively dependent (ND) uniformly bounded random variables, where a, k21 is an may of nonnegative real numbers such that 0(k ) for every ?> 0 and E|x | F | =0 , F = ?(X ,…, X ) for every n>l.
We study a stochastic model of influence where agents have “yes” or “no” inclinations on some issue, and opinions may change due to mutual influence among the agents. Each agent independently aggregates the opinions of the other agents and possibly herself. We study influence processes modelled by ordered weighted averaging operators, which are anonymous: they only depend on how many agents sha...
in this paper, we shall define and study the concept of -statistical convergence and -statistical cauchy inrandom 2-normed space. we also introduce the concept of -statistical completeness which would provide amore general frame work to study the completeness in random 2-normed space. furthermore, we also prove some new results.
