We present a new discrete Adomian decomposition method to approximate the theoretical solution of discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equations. The method is examined for plane waves and for single soliton waves in case of continuous, semi– discrete and fully discrete Schrödinger equations. Several illustrative examples and Mathematica program codes are presented.
In this paper, a numerical solution based on Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM) is used for finding the solution of higher order nonlinear problem which arise from the problems of calculus of variations. In this paper a numerical algorithm, based on the Adomian decomposition method and a modified form of this method, is presented for solving a system of second-order boundary value problems associated with obstacle, unilateral, and contact problems. The scheme is shown to be highly accurate, and only a few terms are required to obtain accurate computable solutions.
