Doxorubicin (DOX) is a powerful chemotherapy drug used in numerous cancer treatments, known to causes neurotoxicity and impair cognitive function patients. The main mechanism thought be responsible for the neuronal damage related oxidative stress. Agomelatine (AGM) has recently been identified as neuroprotective agent against toxicity effect of AGM on DOX-induced was investigated this study. In...

We investigate the issues of inductive problem-solving and learning by doxastic agents. We provide topological characterizations of solvability and learnability, and we use them to prove that AGM-style belief revision is “universal”, i.e., that every solvable problem is solvable by AGM conditioning.

We offer a solution to the triviality result by Gärdenfors. His result claims that there are no non-trivial belief revision systems which satisfy the AGM postulates and are compatible with the Ramsey Test. We show that this result does no longer apply if we restrict some of the AGM postulates to deal only with the non-conditional part of epistemic states.

Abstract Focusing on the problem of precise determination laser illumination starting time for air-to-ground missiles (AGMs), a numerical calculation method based multidimensional polynomial fitting is proposed in this paper. The presented takes various factors including temperature, altitude, and platform velocity into consideration. Influence by parameters delivered step through feature point...

The yolk sac and the para-aortic splanchnopleura/aorta-genital ridges-mesonephros (P-Sp/AGM) region are the main sites of haematopoietic activity in the mouse embryo at the pre-liver stage of development. By day 11.5 of gestation, the AGM region is capable of autonomous initiation and expansion of definitive haematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). By day 12.5, HSC activity in the AGM region is reduce...

The majority of recently emerging infectious diseases in humans is due to cross-species pathogen transmissions from animals. To establish a productive infection in new host species, viruses must overcome barriers to replication mediated by diverse and rapidly evolving host restriction factors such as protein kinase R (PKR). Many viral antagonists of these restriction factors are species specifi...

The ontogeny of the hematopoietic system in mammalian embryos occurs during the yolk sac (YS) and the fetal liver (FL) stages. Events leading to the establishment of hematopoiesis in the FL remain obscure. The appearance of colony-forming units-spleen (CFU-S) in the FL is preceded by a gradual increase of CFU-S in the YS and a more rapid increase in the AGM region (area comprising dorsal aorta,...

Dorsocentral striatum (DCS) is an associative region necessary for directed attention in rats. DCS is defined as the main region in which axons from ipsilateral medial agranular cortex (AGm) terminate within the striatum. In this double-labeling study, we placed a green axonal tracer in area AGm and a red one in an additional brain region. We examined the spatial relationship between terminals ...

Dynamic flux chambers (DFCs) and micrometeorological (MM) methods are extensively deployed for gauging air–surface Hg gas exchange. However, a systematic evaluation of the precision of the contemporary Hg flux quantification methods is not available. In this study, the uncertainty in Hg flux measured by the relaxed eddy accumulation (REA) method, the aerodynamic gradient method (AGM), the modif...

We generalize AGM belief revision theory to the multi-agent case. To do so, we first generalize the semantics of the singleagent case, based on the notion of interpretation, to the multi-agent case. Then we show that, thanks to the shape of our new semantics, all the results of the AGM framework transfer. Afterwards we investigate some postulates that are specific to our multi-agent setting.
