We use a geometric technique based on embeddings of graphs to provide an explicit formula for the absolute algebraic connectivity and its eigenvectors of double brooms.
Characterizing regular covers of edge-transitive or arc-transitive graphs is currently a hot topic in algebraic graph theory. In this paper, we will classify arctransitive regular cyclic covers of the complete bipartite graph Kp,p for each odd prime p. The classification consists of four infinite families of graphs. In particular, such covers exist for each odd prime p. The regular elementary a...
All node certificate based transitive signature schemes available in the literature make use of any digital signature scheme which is assumed to be provably secure against adaptive chosen-message attack, as a building block to produce node certificates in a graph. Consequently the algebraic structures to represent nodes in the graph are independent of the algebraic structure of signature scheme...

Tutte [W.T. Tutte, On the algebraic theory of graph colorings, J. Combin. Theory 1 (1966) 15–20] conjectured that every bridgeless Petersen-minor free graph admits a nowhere-zero 4-flow. Let (P10)μ̄ be the graph obtained from the Petersen graph by contracting μ edges from a perfect matching. In this paper we prove that every bridgeless (P10)3̄-minor free graph admits a nowhere-zero 4-flow. c © 20...
Fuzzy graph language recognizability is introduced along the lines of the established theory of syntactic graph language recognizability by virtue of the algebraic structure of magmoids. The main closure properties of the corresponding class are investigated and several interesting examples of fuzzy graph languages are examined.
In 1984, Raoult proposed a formalization of graph rewritings using pushouts in the category of graphs and partial functions. This note generalizes his method and formulates algebraic graph structure to introduce a more general framework for graph rewritings and to give a simple proof of existence theorem of pushouts using relational calculus.
This paper shows an application of Bloom and Ésik’s iteration algebras to model graph data in a graph database query language. About twenty years ago, Buneman et al. developed a graph database query language UnQL on the top of a functional meta-language UnCAL for describing and manipulating graphs. Recently, the functional programming community has shown renewed interest in UnCAL, because it pr...
