高炉スラグ（BFS）高含有セメントの強度発現性は、セメント（OPC）の配合量によって大きく変化することが知られる。本研究では、セメントの配合量を変えたBFS高含有セメントについて、その強度発現性に及ぼすせっこう（Gyp）と亜硝酸カルシウム（CN）の併用効果を検討した。その結果、OPC1～3％でGyp15％＋CN2％添加、およびOPC30～50％でGyp1％＋CN2％添加としたBFS高含有セメントが、OPCや高炉セメントB種と同等以上の強度を得られることがわかった。また、OPC配合量でGypとCNの強度増進効果が異なるため、これらの最適化によるBFS高含有セメントの強度制御の方向性を提案することができた。
