this paper studies the consensus problem of nonlinear leader-following multi-agent systems (mas). to do this, the error dynamics between the leader agent and follower ones are described via a takagi-sugeno (ts) fuzzy model. if the obtained ts fuzzy model is stable, then all of the nonlinear agents reach consensus. the consensus problem is investigated based on the parameterized or fuzzy lyapuno...

Traditional innovation models assume that new ideas are developed up to the point where the benefit of the marginal project is just equal to the cost. Because labor is a key input to innovation, when the opportunity cost of time is lower, such as during school breaks or time o↵ from work, then such models predict that the number of ideas developed will be greater, but the average quality will b...

In this paper we characterize the slack matrices of cones and polytopes among all nonnegative matrices. This leads to an algorithm for deciding whether a given matrix is a slack matrix. The underlying decision problem is equivalent to the polyhedral verification problem whose complexity is unknown.

We present a model for computation of algebraic constraint. An algebraic constraint is defined to be a boolean formula of equations in which every equation is expressed by a polynomial over a field, and hence such constraint may contain negation of an equation, that is, a form f 6= 0 where f is some polynomial. Algebraic constraint appears in many application fields of data analysis such as stu...

BACKGROUND Quantifying passive stretching responses of individual muscles helps the diagnosis of muscle disorders and aids the evaluation of surgical/rehabilitation treatments. Utilizing an animal model, we demonstrated that shear elastic modulus measured by supersonic shear wave elastography increases linearly with passive muscle force. This study aimed to use this state-of-the-art technology ...

in this paper, stabilization conditions and controller design for a class of nonlinear systems are proposed. the proposed method is based on the nonlinear feedback, quadratic lyapunov function and heuristic slack matrices definition. these slack matrices in null products are derived using the properties of the system dynamics. based on the lyapunov stability theorem and sum of squares (sos) dec...

Slick (Slo2.1) and Slack (Slo2.2) channels belong to the family of high-conductance K+ channels and have been found widely distributed in the CNS. Both channels are activated by Na+ and Cl- and, in addition, Slick channels are regulated by ATP. Therefore, the roles of these channels in regulation of cell excitability as well as ion transport processes, like regulation of cell volume, have been ...

Slick and Slack high-conductance K+ channels are found in the CNS, kidneys, pancreas, among other organs, where they play an important role in cell excitability as well as in ion transport processes. They are both activated by Na+ and Cl- but show a differential regulation by cell volume changes. Slick has been shown to be regulated by cell volume changes, whereas Slack is insensitive. α-subuni...

Granulomatous slack skin syndrome is a rare variant of mycosis fugoides characterized by the development of pendulous skin folds in the intertriginous regions. It has an indolent but progressive course and is usually refractory to treatment. Extra-cutaneous involvement is rare. We report a unique case of slack skin syndrome coexisting with a progressive granulomatous lung disease.

Granulomatous slack skin is an extremely uncommon form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. We report a case occurring in a 29-year-old man, who had generalized, progressive skin lesions evolving to nodular swellings and folds in the flexural regions, and peripheral blood and marrow involvement. The biopsies were initially misinterpreted as xanthogranuloma or granulomatous inflammation. Histologically...
