We present the kinematics of the molecular gas in the barred spiral galaxy M83 (NGC5236). The study is based on CO(J=1–0 and 2–1) observations with the Swedish-ESO Submillimetre Telescope (SEST). Iso-velocity maps of the entire optical disk, 10 × 10 or 13× 13 kpc, are produced. They show the pattern of an inclined, rotating disk, but also the effects of streaming motions along the spiral arms. ...

In this paper, a newly proposed analytical scheme by the authors namely the improved di erential transform method is employed to provide an explicit series solution to the Thomas Fermi equation. The solution procedure is very straightforward, requiring merely elementary operations together with di erentiation, and ends up in a recursive formula involving the Adomian polynomials to a ord the unk...

In a recent paper, Peláez and Ynduráin evaluate some of the low energy observables of ππ scattering and obtain flat disagreement with our earlier results. The authors work with unsubtracted dispersion relations, so that their results are very sensitive to the poorly known high energy behaviour of the scattering amplitude. Indeed, their calculations mainly illustrate the fact that the most impor...

In this study, a temperature-dependent of the dispersion coefficients is calculated from equation state. The Lennard-Jones LJ (12-6-3) effective pair potential function and simple thermodynamic argumentwith the input PVT data of liquid metals are used to calculate the dispersion coefficients. The dispersioncoefficients ( , , ) 3 6 12 C C C are found to be a linear function of 1/T1+α , where T is...

Crown imperial scattered according to soil structure and organic matter in Zagros regions in Ilam. This plant has been performed an important role in the beautification of environment, tourist attraction and providing of plant essential oils which are used for the production of medicines. The current research was carried out to evaluation spatial distribution pattern of Fritillaria imperialis i...

We derive an equation that governs the spatiotemporal dynamics of small amplitude alternans in paced cardiac tissue. We show that a pattern-forming linear instability leads to the spontaneous formation of stationary or traveling waves whose nodes divide the tissue into regions with opposite phase of oscillation of action potential duration. This instability is important because it creates dynam...

This article analyzes the impact of stochastic skill-biased technological change on earnings inequality in a general equilibrium OLG model. Wage dispersion is determined by the heterogeneity of skills by allowing for productivity differences due to education, ability, and age. The model performs well in reproducing stylized facts on the time pattern of the U.S. wage distribution and human capit...

Nowadays, an abundance of sensors are used to collect very large datasets containing spatial points which can be mined and analyzed to extract meaningful patterns and information. This article examines patterns which describe the dispersion of 2D data around a central tendency. Several state of the art patterns for point cluster analysis are presented and critiqued before a new pattern, the Ori...

UNLABELLED Pattern Gene Finder (PaGeFinder) is a web-based server for on-line detection of gene expression patterns from serial transcriptomic data generated by high-throughput technologies like microarray or next-generation sequencing. Three particular parameters, the specificity measure, the dispersion measure and the contribution measure, were introduced and implemented in PaGeFinder to help...

We model tree migration with a coupled map lattice and study the dynamics of the moving front. We show that when the maximal dispersal distance is finite and the spatial redistribution pattern remains unchanged in time, the moving front will always approach an asymptotic state: a travelling wave. We also show that when the climate becomes more favorable to growth or germination, the front at an...
